Making Missoula is excited to announce this grant writing workshop with Zola Kell! This class will provide participants with an overview of how to write a grant application, and why makers can and should apply for them. We will demystify the process of writing an application and discuss best practices for presenting yourself and your work in words.
And even better?? The workshop is the Wednesday before the Making Missoula Makers Grant application for $1000 goes live on Friday, September 13th!
Zola Kell is a grant consultant, editor, artist, and maker. She makes handmade tufted rugs under her business name, Zola Textiles. She has over ten years of grant-writing experience, and this year was the recipient of a Strategic Investment Grant from the Arts Council of Montana that allowed her to expand her business from being exclusively product-based to offering experiential learning opportunities.
