Supporting Missoula’s Makers
We’re here to help you grow
Making Missoula is the nonprofit that split off of the Missoula Makers Collective in 2024 for the express purpose of supporting makers- through education, business development, grants, and mutual aid.
We believe that women’s financial autonomy, a robust handmade economy, and a close community of entrepreneurs are three keys maintaining the unique qualities of Missoula.

Our key focus
Business Development
When deciding which classes to offer, we focus on key areas of business development. These primary areas are marketing, finances, and operation. If you’re an expert interested in teaching a class, email us at makingmissoula@gmail.com
Health and Mindset
As makers, your body is your primary tool and mindset determines your success. We seek to support both of these areas of health through physical health clinics designed for makers and various mindset presentations from successful artists in the community.
Community
Many of our programs are aimed at creating and cultivating community among makers. These programs are great for folks that are interested in starting a business or becoming more connected with the maker community.
